Name of the Career : VAO -  Village Administrative Officer
Number of Vacancies : 1870
Scale of Pay : Rs.5,200 – 20200 /- + 2400 GP
Age :  21 years to 30 years . In case SCs , SC(A)s, STs , MBCs / DCs , BCs , BCMs and DWs of all Castes 21 years to 40 years .
Educational Qualification :  Passed SSLC Public Examination
Knowledge of Tamil : Candidates must know knowledge of Tamil
Selection :  Written Test   Marks 300 , Minimum Qualifying Marks 90. GK + General Tamil / English SSLC standards  200 Multiple Questions  3 hours , 300 marks.

Examination Fee :  Rs.125 /- ( Examination Fee Rs.75/- + Application Cost Rs.50/- ) . Candidates having exemption from examination fee should pay only Rs.50/- towards  Application Cost .
